Our Board

Empowering Adoptions was founded by our President, Laura Bancroft. Laura and her husband have eleven children, 8 of whom are adopted. After going through the process of adoption multiple times, Laura realized that she could streamline the process and make it far more affordable so that more families could choose adoption to expand their families. That is why she founded Empowering Adoptions, which is a not for profit and registered charity through the legal name "Empowering Dreams Society".
